On Jan. 12, the Université d'Ottawa Centre de Droit Public uOttawa Public Law Centre will host a roundtable discussion to mark the release of Intervening in Canadian Courts (LexisNexis Canada, 2025). Author and editor Claire Boychuk will discuss the new collection with contributing authors Nana Yanful (Yanful Law), Bennett Jensen (Egale Canada), Lex Gill (Trudel Johnston & Lespérance) and Lisa Kerr (Queen’s University).

On January 15, the Université d'Ottawa Centre de Droit Public uOttawa Public Law Centre will host our own Professor Nathalie Chalifour for the launch of her new book: Climate Change and the Canadian Constitution: Federalism and Charter Rights in a Warming World (University of Toronto Press).
In her book, Professor Chalifour offers an urgent and timely legal perspective on new environmental realities, examining how Canada’s constitutional framework can both hinder and empower climate action.
